Stone Mill Light Painting

Join us on September 10:

In this small, focused workshop we’ll create stunning and moody images by “painting” the Stone Mill with colored flashlights and utilizing the ambient night light that basks the facility in an orange glow. In addition to walking away with great images, you will learn to take control of your camera’s manual settings to enhance your creativity.

Stone Mill Workshop

Join us on October 1 December 3:

NOTE: We have moved this workshop to December 3, in order to accommodate the Kelby World Wide Photo Walk.

The Stone Mill Photography Workshop provides an opportunity to explore and photograph an architectural icon of America’s Industrial Revolution. Its stone construction and slate roof make it unique among the surviving mills in Lawrence. You can choose to shoot on your own, or receive individual instruction along the way.
