Where to meet
Everett Mill
15 Union Street
Lawrence, MA
Suite 551
Parking and entrance in the rear of the building.
What to bring
Your camera and a desire to shoot a cool location:
- A variety of lenses. If you have a DSLR or other interchangeable lens camera system, you may want to bring a variety of lenses. Wide angle works wonderfully well in these buildings, but the only limit is your own creativity.
- A sturdy tripod. Some sections are not well lit. A tripod will keep your camera steady for longer exposures and for shooting brackets.
- A shutter release cable. It will help eliminate camera shake on that tripod mounted camera..
- A laptop computer with photo-editing tools. We will be conducting demos in the afternoon, but you can also work on your own images. Computers will be securely locked in the classroom during shooting hours.
What to Wear
Wear clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty. The mill spaces we will be shooting are old. Very old. With old, comes dust and dirt and grime.
